These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and VortxKode ("we", "us"), the maker of NeuralOS. By downloading, accessing or using NeuralOS, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use NeuralOS on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to use NeuralOS. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
NeuralOS is a focus timer and pattern-analysis tool for personal productivity and motivation, with optional ambient focus soundscapes (Neural Atmospheres) played locally on your device. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or health advice. The brain visualization, neurons, Brain Level, Cognitive Indices, ranks and DeKoder profiles are symbolic representations computed from your own session history. They are not biological measurements, not clinical assessments, and are not diagnostic of any condition. Do not rely on the app for any medical or health decision.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for all activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to falsify the app's data, statistics, streaks, ranks or rarity tiers; use bots, scripts or automated means to inflate metrics; access the service by any means other than the official app; resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the app without permission; or use NeuralOS for any unlawful purpose. Abuse of these rules may void rewards and result in suspension.
NeuralOS Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms, and processed and validated through RevenueCat, a subscription management service. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off in your store account settings. Manage or cancel any time in your store account; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Prices and Pro features may change with advance notice. Except where the law or the app store requires, payments are non-refundable — refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Focus sessions are unlimited on every plan, including free. Your history, brain, streak, badges, ranks and Brainprints are free. We may change what the free and Pro tiers include, with notice, and we may introduce, modify or discontinue features.
You own the session notes and content you create. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, sync and display that content back to you so the app can function. We do not sell your data or use your content to advertise. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
NeuralOS, the VortxKode name and logo, the brain visualization, and the app's design, code and text are owned by VortxKode and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it except as the law expressly allows.
NeuralOS relies on third parties including Apple (App Store, Sign in with Apple), Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Google Sign-In, Google Play), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and the app stores are not responsible for NeuralOS.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that insights will suit your circumstances, or that data will never be lost — export backups regularly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VortxKode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost progress, arising from your use of or inability to use NeuralOS. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or the minimum the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold VortxKode harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising out of your misuse of the app or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using NeuralOS at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — survive termination.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves or the law changes. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally. We would rather resolve any issue directly — email us first and we will try to sort it out.
